Descent of the Dark Tide
Description
Descent of the Dark Tide is the name I gave to my crowds project. The goal of this exercise was to create a visually compelling crowd simulation, involving agent preparation, object preparation, animations, ragdoll simulations, and exploring the many possibilities offered by crowd solvers. In my case, I took it a step further by modifying the crowd solver to recreate a shockwave effect. To enhance the realism and narrative, I incorporated Pyro FX, including falling smoke, shockwaves, and torch flames. The final step was to bring everything together in Nuke for compositing. This project allowed me to explore the creative and technical aspects of crowd simulations while adding my own twist to make the scene more dynamic and engaging.
