AMG PROJECT ONE

This is my second-year final project for my VFX degree. As a car enthusiast, I decided to create a Mercedes commercial, inspired by the frenetic pace and refined aesthetics of high-end automotive ads. My goal was to capture the essence of speed, elegance, and power while achieving cinematic quality. The project involved crafting dynamic camera movements, refining materials and lighting to highlight the car’s design, and building environments that enhanced the overall mood. Texturing was done in Substance Painter, rendering and lighting in Maya, and final compositing in Nuke. This project allowed me to merge my passion for cars with my growing skills in 3D and VFX, making it a rewarding and inspiring experience.
